Becoming An Official
Training
Training is the first step in becoming an official with WNFC. WNFC does not require officials to be certified to officiate games but does encourage those who wish to be certified to complete training through the Nebraska Referee Development Program. To certify through the Nebraska Referee Development Program, you must be at least 13 years of age.
WNFC will conduct classroom and field training prior to the upcoming season. Information on those trainings will be available on the WNFC website, and Facebook page.
Non-certified will be required to attend _____ trainings and mandatory officials meeting.
Certified officials will be required to attend the mandatory officials meeting prior to the start of the season and provide copies of their current certification to the WNFC Coordinator.
Individuals who do not hold a recognized certification, or have attended WNFC trainings will not be considered to officiate for WNFC.
Age
Western Nebraska Football Club (WNFC) requires that all officials, certified or not, be at least 12 years of age to officiate League Games.
